Where your order ships from
We work with makers in three places, and your order can come from any of them.
- Bali, Indonesia: jewellery, altar pieces, amulets, incense, instruments, bags and part of the clothing.
- Australia: most of the clothing, from our maker there, and most of the ceremonial cacao, from Sydney.
- Canada: tea tools and teaware, from Vancouver.
Items from Bali are brought together at one point in Bali and leave in one parcel with one tracking number. Items from Australia or Canada are sent from there, in a separate parcel. If your order mixes items from two or three places, it arrives in separate parcels, each with its own tracking number where the service has one. You pay shipping once, at checkout.
Where we ship to
We ship to 12 countries: Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. If your country is not offered at checkout, we do not ship there yet.
Shipping options
- Checkout offers one option, a tracked courier. Parcels from Bali go by DHL Express Worldwide.
- We do not offer postal shipping (EMS) yet.
- For wholesale orders and any cart of 30 kg or more, checkout does not offer shipping. Write to [email protected] and we get you a quote for air or sea freight from Bali.
What shipping costs
Shipping depends on the total weight of your cart and the country of your delivery address. Checkout shows the exact amount before you place the order, and that is what you pay for shipping.

A cart that weighs exactly a band limit, such as 1 kg, is priced in the higher band. Prices are in EUR. If you shop in USD, checkout converts them at the shop's current rate.
Delivery times
- From Bali: DHL describes Express Worldwide as delivery by the end of the next possible business day in its network. It does not publish a number of days from Bali to each country, and customs in your country can add days. The tracking page shows the date DHL expects.
- From Australia: our clothing maker gives 7 to 14 business days to Europe and North America, and 2 to 6 business days within Australia.
- From Canada: the teaware is sent by Canada Post within 3 to 4 days of the order.
These are estimates from the carriers and makers, not guarantees.
Tracking
DHL Express parcels from Bali are tracked. The parcels from Australia go by Australia Post with tracking. For teaware from Canada, tracking depends on the Canada Post service used. Where a parcel has a tracking number, we add it to your order, and you can see it in Order history or in Guest Tracking.
Cacao in hot weather
Cacao can soften in a hot parcel. If it arrives soft, keep it closed in a cool place until it is firm again. If it arrives damaged, tell us and we replace it or refund it, as set out in Returns & Refunds.
Duties and import taxes
Prices exclude import duties and taxes of the destination country, paid by the customer on delivery (DAP). When your order ships from another country, it is an import into yours. Any import duty, import tax or carrier handling fee that your country charges is collected on delivery and paid by you.
